VINTAGE TRAINS
Some carriages were donated in poor condition by museums or preserved railways. Others had been changed in to farm buildings or dwellings. Since 1996 Stately Trains has won numerous awards for restoration and subsequent use of the collection.
Look out for unusual features, such as hooks on the under frame sides of some carriages (to enable shunting by horses) and of course no corridor connections, typical of coaches of this era.
All our coaches and wagons are all available to hire for private charters, weddings, functions and film productions.
