It was also the first time the loco had run in England since 1975, so quite a coup! The event featured: Morayshire - visiting from Scotland Darfield No.1 - visiting from Langollen for a year Monckton No.1 running well A mixture of diesels (D.5600 and D.1524) owing to 140 being withdrawn. The event proved to be very popular with a lot of visitors. Travelling behind Morayshire was certainly a lure for many! There were demonstration freight trains, trains using the Stately Trains carriages as well as trains with the Mk.Is.
