New for 2019

Following positive feedback regarding last year’s entertainment, we will again be supplementing our volunteer staff with professional entertainers – and we’ve booked even more for this year! Expect Christmas carols, lots high energy entertainment in your carriage and of course that all-important visit from Santa and his elves!

Come enjoy a return journey with Santa on our festive trains!

Our Santa Classic runs on every day of our Santa operation - from 24th November through to 24th December, including every weekend day and a few selected mid-week slots too.  We've also introduced a First Class Santa, where you will sit in our luxurious Bulleid coach with additional entertainment just for First Class, hot chocolate served at your seat plus lots of other extras!  We're offering Festive Afternoon Teas in our new Director's saloon and Queen Victoria's Royal Carriage and if you fancy having your works' Christmas party on our train, then we have a buffet menu on Friday 20th December, or luxury Festive Afternoon Teas and the exclusive hire of Queen Victoria's Royal Saloon available on other dates.  If you'd like the exclusivity of booking a premium compartment, then on most days we have compartments for up to 6 or 8 people available.  And of course, for that extra special evening atmosphere, then join us on our Santa Evening Specials.

Book online: We’ve got a new ticketing system for this year’s Santa trains, enabling you to book seats or compartments of your choice really easily! Santa Ticketing Website

Advance Booking Required: Tickets for our Santa Specials do sell out, therefore advance booking is required. Dates nearer to Christmas are especially popular and so early booking to secure these dates is essential.  Occasionally additional tickets do become available for previously ‘sold out’ dates – so please keep checking our ticketing website for the latest ticket availability.

Schools & Playgroups: We’ve got two mid-week dates which may be particularly suitable.  Tuesday 10th December and Friday 20th December.

Booking fee: A fee of £1.80 will apply to all orders.

Santa hotline: You are also welcome to call us on 01756 710614 up until 9PM – we’ll do our best to find you tickets!

Great video review by one of our customers!

The unique atmosphere of our Santa trains running on a cold winter’s day is captured superbly here!

Today we brought 60 children and 10 adults on a trip to ride on the Santa special. I just wanted to write to say thank you for a wonderful experience. As a child I have ridden on the Santa specials with my parents and today, with my class of children, it was every bit as good as I remember.

The staff were very very helpful and made the trip so much easier. The gentleman who was Father Christmas was excellent and took time to speak to each child as he gave them the presents. He even posed for photos with us on the platform at the end of the ride.

The toys the children received were excellent and the whole experience was marvellous. Well worth the money.

I will definitely be recommending this to all my friends and to other teachers and can’t wait to bring my own daughter to visit.

Thank you again for being so welcoming and friendly and making this a school trip that we will all remember for a very long time.
