Disabled Provision

Disabled provision Car park spaces are reserved close to the station buildings for ease of access and there is a disabled toilet at Bolton Abbey Station. On the normal service trains there is a specially converted Disabled Saloon, which can be easily accessed via a ramp - the Station Staff or the guard will be willing to assist. The DMU service can accommodate wheelchairs, but the Vintage Trains do not have specific accommodation for wheelchairs. Please phone (01423) 561965 for further information about disabled access to the Vintage Trains.

There is a footpath which runs from Bolton Abbey Station up to the Priory - a map of this can be seen as the Railway Link. The Priory is about one and a quarter miles from the station.

The Wharfedale Wanderer Bus links Bolton Abbey Station with Ilkley and Wharfedale during the summer. Telephone 0870 608 2 608 for times and public transport links to Ilkley and Skipton.
