August 2004 saw the first appearance of Diesel - D.3867 - lurking in the carriage sidings.

Thomas is seen again on the coal dock as one of the trains passes by on its
way to Bolton Abbey station. There are more children waiting for a chance to
meet Thomas since the last photo! 68005's driver

Meanwhile, back at Embsay, Percy is on hand to provide some entertainment for
the children in between helping other engines pull the heavy trains.

Percy is seen again at Embsay, this time in platform 1 in between trains on a
very quiet day, or first thing in the morning!

August Bank Holiday 2002 saw three locos hauling the trains. Here 68005
is seen passing Cranford at Stoneacre Loop - both with 5-coach trains.

A little while later, Cranford passes Monckton in the
same location. Cranford was in the process of being repainted immediately prior to the event,
and so hauled trains in plain unlined green - with a brown chimney!

Back at Embsay station the crowds await the arrival of the next train (departures are every 30
minutes), whilst looking around at the station itself, decked out with union flags.

For entertainment at Embsay, there was a Punch and Judy show, which proved very popular judging
from the following pictures!

Also at Embsay, the Waiting Room on platform 2 was open, showing Thomas videos as well as playing host to a model railway
featuring Thomas and his friends.
