Santa's Specials for 2015 All trains depart from BOLTON ABBEY STATION ONLY Sunday 29th November 2015 Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th December 2015 Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th December 2015 Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th December 2015 Our popular mid-week Santa's Special runs on Tuesday 8th December with THREE trains available. Following its success in 2014, the Evening Santa's Special will return on Saturday 19th December offering complimentary mince pies, mulled wine (or cordial or fruit juice) and entertainment. This runs from Bolton Abbey at 6:30pm. Trains will depart from Bolton Abbey station ONLY at: 10:30am 12:00pm 1:30pm 3:00pm giving a round trip of 1 hour. Santa will be on the train, giving out presents to well-behaved children who are in possession of a valid ticket. The fires will be lit at Bolton Abbey station, the Refreshment Room will be bulging with mince pies and other seasonal fare, (as will the Buffet Cars) and decorations will be all around. PRE-BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL. All trains depart from Bolton Abbey station. Embsay station is CLOSED for passengers for the duration of Santa's Specials. Trains will not call here for passengers to alight or board the train.
