Also operating during the weekend were the Stately Trains, with the LNER Restaurant Car, GNoSR
6-wheeler and the L&Y Director's Saloon seen here behind Annie in her Harvest of Steam before a full
overhaul is required.

The final picture in this batch comes was taken on the Embsay side of Hambleton cutting, showing Mog
and Monckton double heading up the gradient towards Stoneacre. The headboard proclaims 'YDRMT Embsay -
Bolton Abbey'.

The goods train is seen from the top of former quarry as it heads out of the station, before
heading into Hambleton Cutting.

Cranford enters Hambleton Cutting with a passenger train. This section of line can provide people with
a good display as the trees can make the rail conditions difficult.

Seen from the lineside, Cranford and Monckton double
head a passenger train, on the exit from Hambleton Cutting.

Monckton is seen with the goods this time, from a point above Prior's Lane,
on the public footpath, as it approaches Stoneacre Loop.

Early morning, with frost on the ground, and Cranford raises steam outside

Looking the other way, Monckton raises steam on the coal dock, and out of
sight, Annie and 68005 also get ready.

One feature of the weekend was the Fowler H.W.Robinson shunting the goods
train at Embsay, seen here in platform 2. A failure by this loco resulted in D.2203
substituting for the rest of the weekend.

This is the first of a series of photos showing 68005 with the goods

...and they're off!

|
Getting into its stride towards the end of the platform, it certainly looks rather good!

The train is seen here passing the photographer and the water column, heading into Hambleton
Cutting. Note the tractor loaded on the lowmac, and firewoman looking on.

The 10-wagon goods train accelerates further, as the photographers take note.

This selection of photos was taken mainly from the footplate of Monckton,
as Tom was on the footplate for the day. Here Monckton waits on the main line as Annie
enters the loop light engine, the 'box having just been opened and staffs split (I think).

|
Upon arrival at Bolton Abbey, Monckton runs round the train, through
platform 2, ready to take on water.

Water is taken with Aaron on the tank and Beth by the column, while more photos are taken.

With Monckton and Cranford back on the train, the platform
around the engines becomes busier, with people awaiting the departure.

|
Heading through Hambleton Cutting, Cranford can be seen through Monckton's
cab window, pounding up the bank.

|
Out of the cutting and on the straight, approaching Prior's Lane, the two engines are still
