PERMANENT WAY
- joining us!

All prospective volunteers are welcome! Age limits are that you must be older than 16 but without an upper age barrier. That said, the work can be hard on the track itself so prospective volunteers of ‘a certain age’ may prefer to specialise in less strenuous tasks such as track walking(inspection - looking for and recording defects) or helping to keep the lineside attractive by taking on painting projects.

Some of the team posing at Healy Mills! (C) Dave Barlow Initial contact should be with David Barlow who will arrange for your induction and Track Safety training.
